After I graduated from college, I started working for my father in sales. In business, the opportunity to make a lot of money was there, but there was no form of creativity. After a few months, I realized I wanted to be in the arts instead of business. I knew that the arts were harder to pursue and become successful in, but that's where my heart was. So, I kept working as I started training, and more and more, I realized I had to do this.
I still work for my father. I do his books on computer. I'm lucky that I can work my own hours because I can log on from my computer. I think getting a job is really important; otherwise, it gets too depressing being a "starving artist."
