Mary was born in Chicago, but was raised in Britain and France and has dual nationality. She has been pursuing acting for thirteen years, after a career as a dancer and model. She received a degree in Elizabethan literature and graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She has performed in numerous theatrical productions specializing in British roles in the United States, many of them from Shakespeare and Agatha Christie works. Mary has appeared in many student and industrial films, music videos, and commercials. Her feature films include Private Collections, A Situation, and The Nutty Professor.
My parents always said I was a natural performer, and I was always acting for them, putting on little plays. As a tiny girl, I leaped off an entire flight of steps after chirping "Bye, bye!" to my horrified mother. I landed on my feet and made a deep curtsey. I couldn't not act.
