Whitney is originally from Chicago and has been pursuing acting for thirteen years. She received her theatre degree from Columbia College in Chicago. She studied with John Ruskin at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, and Stephanie Feury and Playhouse West in Los Angeles. Her theatre credits include The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Butterfly Effect, Lend Me a Tenor, Porch, Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, I Ought to Be in Pictures, and The Star-Spangled Girl. Whitney's television credits include lead and co-starring roles in Instant Recall (pilot), Heroes of Desert Storm ( ABC movie of the week), From the Dead of Night ( NBC miniseries), Friends, The Hollywood Family, Up All Night, and Under the Biltmore Clock. She has also appeared in industrial films, commercials, and a slew of independent feature films. Whitney is the founder of New Attitude Productions, a nonprofit 99-seat theatre company.
When I was a kid I used to set up little shows on Saturday afternoons. I would rehearse all day with my friends, then at 4:00 it would be curtain time. Our audience consisted of my parents and usually a neighbor.
