Gabrielle de Cuir
Gabrielle has been pursuing acting for seventeen years. She was raised in Italy, but completed her training as a cum laude graduate of UCLA's theatre department. Her stage credits include The Man Who Came to Dinner at the Glendale Center Theatre, Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Globe, and Can-Can at the Westchester Playhouse. As a company member of the Knightsbridge Theatre in Pasadena, she played lead roles in Situation Comedy, Spider's Web, and Accomplice. Her television credits include national commercials for Sheraton and Safeway. Her most recent film work includes the leading role in Nancy Wyatt Misconception for the American Film Institute.
I chose acting because I just felt so good doing it once I got over the initial few years of being very, very nervous. In high school I can remember feeling like I wasn't breathing before I went on. Once I got beyond that, I felt it was a magical place to be. Being on the stage is the safest place in the world. Something wonderful happens for me, and hopefully, something wonderful happens for the audience as well.
