I've always liked attention and I've always been talented in the arts. The thing that kicked me over the edge, though, was watching my dad, Morgan Freeman, succeed. I've always been acting, but I had never gone after it professionally. When I got laid off from my job of thirteen years in aerospace, the next day I said, "I'm an actor." My dad succeeded, why can't I? I decided to challenge myself in the arts because that's where I have my greatest strength, and that's where I have my greatest love.
