This study will provide a basis from which priorities for ergonomic intervention, including design, can be set. The changing patterns of NKID use suggest that these issues will become of increasing concern to ergonomists in the near future. It is believed that only through a systems approach involving participatory ergonomics can the problem be fully evaluated and solutions found.
