Recently, The graphics design have been enhanced and expanded with the integration of computer graphics and CAD technology. Many research involved in using mathematics and computers for artistic purposes, however, the wide range of current research do not seem to include any methods which makes the design process of early externalized easier. In addition, present CAD systems in graphics design only provide graphic representation of idea recording and final solution in design process. It is very desirable to extend current CAD systems to support the activities in the entire graphic design process by integrating the concept of symmetry groups and CAD technology.
In graphic design, like other design fields, there is a systematic approach toward the solution of a graphic problem. Many combinations of steps have been suggested to enable graphic designer to achieve his or her design. one possible problem-solving model is the following five-step procedure (figure 1):
