A native of St. Louis, Mr. Dunne is a graduate of Georgetown University and St. Louis University Law School. During World War II, he served on a destroyer in the Pacific. He joined the Federal Reserve Bank's legal staff in 1949 and became General Counsel in 1963; in 1967 he was appointed to his present position of Vice President. He is also Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Missouri.
Mr. Dunne is married to the former Nancy O'Neill, and they have six children.
