In accordance with a resolution passed at a called meeting held at Napoleon, on Monday the 6th October, 1845, notice is hereby given, that the Arkansas Californians will rendezvous at Fort Smith, Arkansas, on the first Monday in April next, preparatory to taking up, the line of march for the Pacific coast. Every person starting is expected to be well armed with a rifle or heavy shot gun, 16 lbs. of shot or lead, 4 lbs. of powder, caps, &c., two horses or mules for each person, or a wagon and 8 cattle for every 5 persons, tents, &c.
