Liturgical Music Incunabula: A Descriptive Catalogue

By Kathi Meyer-Baer | Go to book overview

CHRONOLOGICAL LIST

THE chronological list includes all liturgical incunabula in which printed music might be expected. For the dates, generally, the standard catalogues and bibliographies have been followed. It should be realized, however, that in many cases these are only approximate. The purpose of the list is to give a survey of the whole material, and to show the concentration and shifting of activities from one place to another, and from one shop to another; it also indicates which items are in this catalogue.
